There was loads of snow. It was like being in a big snow globe when it actually snowed, and I love that.
EaZyD only dropped me once in the ice and snow - not bad! He also managed to lose the keys to the car while he was 'out skiing'. After searching the slopes for 2 hours, we had to call out a break-in service. They found the keys locked in the boot! And, he left his credit card wallet in the hotel deli; again, this was kindly handed in by someone intact. He did manage to ski and snowboard (sort of?) and stay in one piece.
Holiday tips from our first trip:
Take your own lucky charm – mine is called EaZyD.
Fly business class or better, always.
NEVER try to use the toilet on a plane if you are paralysed – take short trips or pad up.
Ski resorts can be quite good for wheelchair users.
