We owed, and we do like to pay our debts…so, off to a Saturday lunch at Launceston Place – newly pimped of late – with the B-hound and Fun-ke-S . Lovin’:
Yummmm, I did have a great meal, no? The others? Do I care? I guess I do… Not quite lovin’ but really OK:
No lovin’ at all:
The B-hound and the staff had a slightly tense moment early on but it was, I think, a linguistic misunderstanding and the moment quickly passed us all by. Everything else was OK. We sat in a room with high ceilings, dark walls and a nice big window - easy to roll in to, lots of space. It was not too busy; we ate at an unrushed, leisurely pace. We thought it would all be better with evening light and atmosphere and a little sharpening of their offer. Expensive...not a surprise! |
